28、Beforetestingexplosivesathightemperatures,itshouldbecheckedthattheexplosiveisnottoodangerousfor handlingafterbeingexposedtothosehightemperatures. Placethethermocoupleorequivalentinsidethetestpiece. Placethetestpieceintheconditioningchamberandadjustthethermostattoatesttemperature( T)5Clowerthan themi

29、nimumtemperatureor5Chigherthanthemaximumtemperatureforwhichtheexplosiveisdesigned. Afterthetestpiecehasreachedtherequiredtesttemperature,itshallbemaintainedatthetesttemperatureforat least1h. Removethetestpiecefromtheovenorrefrigeratorandplaceitimmediatelyinathermallyinsulatedcontainer. Immediatelybe

30、forefiringremovethetestpiecefromthecontainer. Firethetestpiecebyusingtheinitiationmethodrecommendedbythemanufacturer. Atthetimeoffiringthetemperatureofthetestpieceshallnotdifferbymorethan5Cfromtheconditioning temperature. Performthetestthreetimes. Confirmthatcompletedetonationhasoccurredasdescribedi

31、nEN1363110.EN136317:2003(E) 6 4.2Methodforthedeterminationoftransmissionofdetonation ThetestshallbecarriedoutasdescribedinEN1363111withthefollowingmodifications: a) Beforefiring,thewholetestarrangement(seeEN1363111:2003,Figure1)shallbeconditionedbymeansofa conditioningchamberasdescribedin4.1.1.1,dep

32、endingonthetemperaturerangeclaimedbythe manufacturer. b) Thetestpieceshallbeconditionedat5Cbelowtheminimumtemperatureforwhichtheexplosiveis designed.Thetemperaturewithintheexplosiveshallbemeasuredwithathermocoupleorequivalent.Afterthe testpiecehasreachedtherequiredtesttemperature,itshallbemaintained

33、atthattemperatureforatleast1h. c) Placethetestarrangementintoaninsulatingcontainerandfireitwithin5min. 4.3Methodforthedeterminationofresistancetohydrostaticpressure 4.3.1 Temperaturesupto100C Prepareawatertightcontainerpermittingthecirculationofwateratagiventemperaturethroughit.Itshallbebig enoughto

34、holdthesteeltubewithallaccessoriesasdescribedinEN136316.Additionallyathermocoupleshallbe mountedinthesteeltubetomeasurethetemperatureofthewaterwithinthetube. Placethesteeltubeintothecontainerandclosethecontainerwithaninsulatingcover. Turnonthewatercirculationandadjustthetemperatureofthewatersothatth

35、ewaterinthesteeltubewillreach thedesiredtemperaturewithin30min.Duringthetest,thetemperatureofthecirculatingwatershallbecontrolled byasuitablethermostatwithinanaccuracyof 2C. ProceedasdescribedinEN136316bybuildingupthedesiredpressurewithinthetube.Whenthetemperatureof thewaterwithinthetubehasreachedth

36、edesiredvaluemaintainatthistemperaturefor1h. Firetheexplosive. Iftheexplosivedetonatescompletelyrepeatthetesttwicemore. 4.3.2 Temperaturesabove100C Fillthetestpieceintothesteeltube.Fillthetubewithwatersothatthetestpieceisfullyimmersed.Forthedesired temperature,obtaintheresultingpressurefromtablesofv

37、apourpressure.Ifthepressureclaimedbythe manufacturerishigherthanthisvalue,aconnectionforpressurisedwaterisneeded. MountathermocoupletomeasurethetemperatureofthewaterinsideandclosethetubeasdescribedinEN 136316.Noconnectionforpressurisedwaterisneeded. Windanelectricheatingribbonroundthetubeinawaythatt

38、heribboncoversthesurfaceofthetuberegularly.The powerconsumptionoftheheatingribbonshallbeatleast2000Wperfivelitressteeltubevolume. Forthermalinsulation,coverthetestarrangementforexamplewithdrysand. Startheatingthesteeltubeuntilthetemperaturehasreachedthedesiredvalue.Theheatingrateshouldbesuch thatthe

39、desiredtemperatureisobtainedwithin30min.Maintainthistemperaturefor1h. Firetheexplosive. Incaseofatestresult“failure”waituntilthetemperatureofthewaterhasreachedambientvaluebeforeopening thefiringtube.
