Immediatelypriortoapplicationoftherepairproductorsystemorsurfaceprotectionsystem,allmaterialsshallbe storedint

32、hestandardlaboratoryclimate(see5.1)foratleast24h.Therepairgrout,mortarorconcreteand/orthe surfaceprotectionsystemshallbepreparedandappliedtotheconcretetestspecimensinaccordancewith manufacturersinstructionsatthestandardlaboratoryclimate(see5.1)orsuchalternativeenvironmentsasmaybe specifiedfortheinte

33、ndeduse. Afterapplicationoftherepairproductorsystem,thesamplesshallbecuredinaccordancewiththerequirementsof annexA. NOTE ExperiencefromtheuseofthistestonCCrepairproductshasshownthatifthefull27daywaterimmersioncuring conditionisused,thereisasignificantdangerofdisruptiontotheconcretesubstrateduetofree

34、zethawdamage.Acuring regimeof6daysunderwaterfollowedby21dayscuringinthestandardlaboratoryclimateissuggested. Beforestartingthetest,allsurfacesofthespecimensexceptthe300mmx300mmtestfaceshallbecoatedwith thermosettingresin(see5.8)topreventpenetrationofliquidintothesideandrearoftheconcretetestspecimen

35、duringthetest,allowingfullcureoftheresininaccordancewiththerequirementsforPCgiveninannexA. 7 Testprocedure Aftercompletingthepreparation,twoofthetestspecimensshallbeimmersedinwaterfor24h.Afterthisperiod, thetestcycleshowninFigure1starts.Onecyclelastsfor4handcomprisesthefollowingstages: i) immersioni

36、nthetankcontainingsaturatedsodiumchloridesolution(see5.6)atatemperatureof (152)Cfor2h; ii) storageinthewatertank(see5.7)atatemperatureof(212)Cfor2h. Thetwotestspecimensshallbestoodonend,allowingagapofatleast50mmbetweenthespecimens. Duringaninterruptionofthecycle(e.g.overnight,atweekends,etc.),thetes

37、tspecimensshallbekeptinthewater tankat(212)C. NOTE1 Careisneededtoensurethatthespecifiedtemperaturesaremaintainedinthetanksatalltimes,usingappropriate flowandcontrolsystemsforthesizeofthevessels.Inparticular: placethetestspecimensintothetankssuchthatallsidesareuniformlyexposedtothetesttemperature; p

38、lacethetestspecimensintothestoragetanksataratewhichensuresthatthetemperatureinthesaltsolutionandinthe waterdoesnoteitherexceed13Corbecomelessthan+19Crespectively; thelevelofthesolutioninthetanksshouldbesuchastoensurecompleteimmersionofthespecimenforthedurationof thetest. NOTE2 Theconcentrationofthes

39、altsolutioncanchangewithtimeandshouldbecheckedperiodically.EN136781:2002(E) 6 Everytencycles,thepositionsofthetestspecimensinthestoragetanksshallbechangedonarotationbasis,to compensateforanyslightdifferencesintemperaturethatmayoccur. ThetestcycleshallberepeatedforthenumberofcyclesspecifiedinprEN1504

40、2andprEN15043. Thereferencespecimenshallbestoredinthestandardlaboratoryclimate(see5.1). 8 Evaluationofresults Everytencycles,thetestspecimensshallbevisuallyinspected: i) forscalingand/orcrackingifaPC,PCCorCCproductistested; ii) forsurfacealterations(cracks,peeling,blistering,delamination,bubblingoro

41、thersurfacedefects)ifa surfaceprotectionsystemistested. Cracks0,05mmandanyobservedsurfacealterationsshallbereported.Thefinalvisualinspectionshallbe performedatleast16haftertheendofthecycling. Aftertheendofthecyclingthetwotestspecimensandthereferencespecimenshallbeconditionedatthe standardlaboratoryc
