27、ivalentstandard.Differentporousmassesanddifferentsolventsmaybeadoptedprovidedthat eachcylinderinthevehiclecontainsthesameporousmassandsolvent. Themanifoldshallbeequippedwithallthenecessarydevices(e.g.valves,flashbackarrestors,flowcutoffdevices andmeasuringdevices)toensuresafeoperationduringtransport
28、storage,fillingandemptying. 4.3 Typeofsolvent Thenumberoffillingcyclesbeforereplenishmentofsolventwilldependonthetypeofsolvent(acetoneordimethyl formamide(DMF)andshallbedeterminedforanacetylenevehicletypeBinaccordancewithEN1801(forsingle cylinders)orEN12755(forbundles)toensurethatnocylinderontheveh
29、icleisfilledifitcontainslessthanthe specifiedminimumquantityofsolvent. 4.4Identification Itshallbeverifiedthat: a) theacetylenevehiclehasanynecessaryapprovals; b) theacetylenevehicleispermittedtobefilledinthecountryofthefillingstation; c) thecylindershavenotpassedtheirstatutorytestperiod.EN13720:200

35、let/outletand/ortheconnectionfittingsareinasatisfactoryconditionandfunctionsatisfactorily; f) thevehicleislabelledinaccordancewithallapplicablestatutoryrequirements; g) thecylindersarenotoverdueforperiodicinspection; h) theprescribednumberofrefillshasnotbeenexceeded(see4.3),ifapplicable. 38、re Themaximumfillingpressureforacetylenevehiclesshallnotexceed25bar(gauge). 5.2.2 FillingprocedureforacetylenevehicletypeA Thefillingshallbecarriedoutafterremovingthecompletebundlesoralltheindividualcylindersfromthevehicleand refillingtheminaccordancewiththerequirementsforindividualcylinders(EN 1801
39、EN 12754)or bundles(EN12755). 5.2.3 FillingprocedureforacetylenevehicletypeB Thefillingprocedureshallbepreparedanddocumentedonbehalfoftheownertoensurethatthefillingofallthe cylindersisinaccordancewithannexesBandCofEN12755:2000.Thisdocumentedprocedureshalltakeinto accountthefactorsofvariationsinacet
40、ylenedistribution,coolingsystemrequirements,anddifferentsolventlossesEN13720:2002(E) 9 fromtheacetylenecylinders.Thefillingstationshallbeprovidedwithallnecessaryfacilitiestoconformtothefilling procedures. 5.3Checkduringthefilling 5.3.1DuringthefillingofanacetylenevehicletypeB,itshallbecheckedthatall
41、valvesandconnectionsareleak tight. 5.3.2Ifcylindersarecooledduringfilling,careshallbetakenthatallcylindersarecooledapproximatelytothesame extent. NOTE Ifacetyleneisfilledincoldambientconditions,careshouldbetakentoavoidtheformationofliquidacetylene. 5.4Inspectionafterfilling 5.4.1 Afterthecylindersor
42、bundlesofanacetylenevehicletypeAarefilled,itshallbecheckedthat: thecylindersandbundlesareremountedonthevehiclechassiscorrectly; thecylindersorbundlesareconnectedtothemanifoldsystemcorrectlyandleaktested; themainvalveisnotleaking; thevalves,whicharenecessarytobeclosedfortransport,areclosed; allcapsan
43、dplugsarefittedtofillingconnections; precautionshavebeentakentoexcludeairfromthemanifoldsystem; theacetylenevehicleismarkedandlabelledaccordingtostatutoryrequirements. 5.4.2 AfterfillingthecylindersorbundlesofanacetylenevehicletypeB,itshallbecheckedthat: theacetylenevehicledoesnotcontainmorethanthemaximumacetylenecontent(see3.6); themainvalveisnotleaking; thevalves,whicharenecessarytobeclosedfortransport,areclosed; allcapsandplugsarefittedtofillingconnections; thefillhoseandtheearthingcon
