17、boratory conditions This standard is intended for use in conjunction with EN ISO 20345, EN ISO 20346 and EN ISO 20347. 19、ndard specifies requirements for footwear to protect the user against specific chemicals. This standard does not apply to footwear with leather outsoles. NOTE Requirements for slip resistance are not given in the current (2004) editions of EN ISO 20345, EN ISO 20346 or EN ISO 20347. CEN/TC 161 Worki

Other chemicals may be used according to the intended use. 6.2.2.1 General A footwear item protecting against chem

44、icals shall be tested according to EN 13832-1:2006, 4.2. The sole and upper shall both be tested with the same chemicals. EN 13832-2:2006 (E) 10 After the tests, the tests pieces shall be inspected. If they are very affected (see EN 13832-1:2006, 4.2.4.3), it is considered that they fail the test. 6

49、 g/cm3or less and not greater than 250 mm3for materials with a density greater than 0,9 g/cm3. When outsoles from classification II footwear are tested as described in EN ISO 20344: 2004, 8.3, the relative volume loss shall be not greater than 350 mm3. EN 13832-2:2006 (E) 11 7 Additional requirements for footwear protecting against chemicals For a specific application, in accordance with the intended use, it may be necessary to define additional requirements.
