26、ationtest,sixspecimensshallbeselected.EN14158:2004(E) 6 Fortechnologicaltest,thenumberofspecimensshallbeinaccordancewiththesizeofthecontrollot. 5.2 Testspecimens 5.2.1Surface finish Foridentificationtestthesurfacefinishofthefacesofthespecimensshallbesawn,honedorpolished. Fortechnologicaltestthesurfa
27、cefinishofthefacesofthespecimensshallbeasrequiredforapplication. 5.2.2Dimensions Foridentificationtestthespecimensshallberectangularprismsof200mmx200mmx30mm 1mm. Fortechnologicaltestthedimensionsofthespecimensshallbecommercialsizes. 5.2.3 Planesofanisotropy Fortheidentificationtestthemajorfacesofthe
28、specimensshallbeparalleltotheanisotropyplanes(e.g.bedding, foliation,etc.). Forthetechnologicaltesttheorientationofthemajorfacesofthespecimenswithrespecttotheanisotropyplanes shallbeasinuse. 5.3 Dryingthespecimens Thespecimensshallbedriedatatemperatureof(70 5) Ctoconstantmass. Thisisassumedtohavebee
29、nattained,whenthedifferencebetweentwosuccessiveweighingsatanintervalof(24 2)h,isnotgreaterthan0,1%ofthefirstofthetwomasses. 6Procedure Oneofthe6specimenstobetestedisselectedas“controlspecimen”.Itisputonthesandbedinapositionsothat thecentreofitsmajorfacesbeontheverticallinethroughthecentreoftheball.T
30、hebubblelevelisusedtocheck thatthetopishorizontal. Thesteelballisdroppedfromaninitialheightof100mm,measuredfromthelowestpointoftheball. Ifthespecimendoesnotbreaktheheightoffallisincreasedin50mmstepsuntilabreakisproduced.Theheight atwhichthecontrolspecimenbreaks( h t )isrecorded.Thetestshallberepeate
