Thetestmethodappliestoalltypesofsurfacecoolingsystemsusinganymediumasenergytransport medium. NOTE Theresultisvalidonlyforthe
17、specifiedtestsetup.Forotherconditions(i.e.differentpositionsofheat loads,forcedflowaroundthetestobject,variationsinsurfacearea)theproducershouldgiveguidancebasedonfull scaletests. Themeasurementsshallbeperformedinanairtightroom,totherequirementsof4.2,withcontrolled temperatures
36、ontheinsidesurfacesandwithnegligibleheatflowthroughtheperimetersoftheroom.To balancethecoolingcapacityofthetestobject,heatingissuppliedinthetestroombymeansofanumber ofelectricheateddummiesplacedonthefloorwithinthetestroom.Inordertoobtainreproducible results,thedummiesshallbeplacedinpredeterminedposi
37、tionsasdescribedin4.4. 4.2 Testroom Thefloorareaofthetestroomshallbebetween10,0m 2 and21,0m 2 . Theratioofwidthtolengthofthetestroomshallbenotlessthan0,5andtheinsideheightshallbe between2,7mand3,0m. Therecommendedinsidedimensionsarealengthof4m,awidthof4mandaheightof3m. 41、tiontestsoftheroom,orbycalculation. Theradiationemissionrateoftheinnersurfacesoftheroomshallbeatleast0,9. Itisrecommendedthatfixedtemperaturesensorsshouldbeinstalledatleastinthecentreofeachroom surface. NOTE Itisassumedthattheinsulationisplacedinside,howeverifplacedoutside,thepositionofthe temperatu

43、oom. Thepowertoeachdummyshallnotexceed180Wandshallbecontinuouslyadjustable,forinstancewith avariablevoltagetransformerorwiththyristor. Thenumberofdummiesshallbeevenandchosensothateachdummycoversanaveragefloorareaof 0,9m 2 to1,35m 2 (i.e.themaximumheatloadis200Wm 2 ). Thecasingofthedummiesconsistsoflacqueredsteelsheet.Theemissionrateoftheinnerandouter surfaceshouldbeatleast0,9.Therealelectricpowertothedummiesshallbemeasuredwitha wattmeterofqualityclass1,0%orbetter
