20、ce with the product standard. All cavities shall be fitted with their terminated contacts. If not yet at standard test conditions, the specimens shall be subjected to standard test conditions and stabilized at these conditions for 24 h as defined in EN 2591-100. 3.2 Unless otherwise indicated in the
21、 technical specification, the following details shall be specified: - type and length of cable/fibre; - number of cycles if not 100; - load to be applied; - number of contacts to be installed in optical connection element; - maximum permissible variation of attenuation; - maximum value of insertion
22、loss. 4 Apparatus See EN 2591-602 plus: - a test set-up capable of applying the torsional loads required by the test specification. 24、n (EN 2591-602 - Method A) shall be monitored throughout the test. Unless otherwise stated in the product standard, the following test shall apply: - the cable or cable bundle shall be rotated first at 90“ in one direction then at 180“ in the opposite direction. It shall then be returned to the star
25、ting position (90“). This defines one cycle; - the number of cycles shall be 100; - the cyclic rate shall be 25 cycles/min to 35 cycles/min.
