BS EN 6059-202:2016EN 6059-202:2016 (E) 4 1 Scope This European Standard specifies a method for the examination of dimensions and mass of protection sleeve for electrical cable and cable bundles. It shall be used

19、ng equipment shall be required for these tests: For the examination of the mass an instrument with an electronic scale shall be used with an accuracy of at least 0,05 g. For the examination of the delivered diameter a mandrel with the specified delivered diameter and a minimum length of 350 mm shall
20、 be used. For detailed dimensions e.g. diameter of fibres, thickness of sheet when applicable (e.g. metal foils) a micrometre with an accuracy of at least 0,05 mm shall be used. For textile fabrics (woven, knitted, braided, and non-woven mats) a disk micrometre of the non-rotating spindle type shall
21、 be used and the measure must be taken on the flat fabric. The disk shall have a diameter of 20 mm 1,0 mm. 4 Procedures 4.1 Dimensions Measurement of the delivered diameter: The length of the sleeve shall be measured before and after application of the sleeve to the mandrel. If the delivered diamete
22、r is the maximum diameter or the minimum diameter, the length of the sleeve shall be measured on the mandrel in the test conditions mentioned in EN 6059-401. If the delivered diameter is between the maximum diameter and the minimum diameter, the sleeve shall be slid over the mandrel. The sleeve shal
23、l contact the mandrel at all places by use of tape which is wrapped around the sleeve. 25、aximum difference between the measured lengths of the specimen (before and after application on the mandrel) shall comply with the product standard. Other dimensions (if applicable) shall comply with the product standard. 5.2 Mass The mass of the specimen shall comply with the product standard. This
