The measurement of ELFEXT using laboratory test equipment requires synchronization
20、between local and remote test equipment. Where such equipment is used a) the cable within the cabling interface adaptors shall be as short as possible, b) for the measurement of screened cabling, the screen terminations of the cabling interface adaptors shall be of low impedance. The measurement of
21、ELFEXT using laboratory test equipment without synchronization between local and remote test equipment is not supported by this standard. 5.8.2 Documentation The measured results shall be reported in graphical or tabular format. The test report shall also include the requirements of the relevant cab

27、 called ACR. 5.10.1 Calculation For the calculation of ACR-N see EN 61935-1:2009, 5.3.7. 5.10.2 Documentation The measured results shall be reported in graphical or tabular format. The test report shall also include the requirements of the relevant cabling or application standard and the measurement

It shall be explicitly noted if the measured results do not conform to the requirements. 5.11 Return loss 5.11.1 Test method See EN 61935-1:2009, 5.3.9, for the measurement of return loss on installed cabling at frequencies up to 600 MHz using port

It is possible to use laboratory test equipment to perform tests under the following conditions: a) the cable within the cabling interface adaptor shall be as short as possible; b) for the measurement of screened cabling, the screen terminations of the cabling interface ad

32、ference is given for field testing. 5.12.1 Unbalance attenuation, near end (LCL) EN 50173-1 does not contain requirements for this parameter, but it may be applicable to other cabling. 5.12.2 Transverse conversion loss (TCL) EN 50173-1 contains requirements for this parameter. 5.12.3 Equal level tra
33、nsverse conversion transfer loss (ELTCTL) EN 50173-1 contains requirements for this parameter. 5.13 Coupling attenuation 5.13.1 Test method See EN 50289-1-16 for the measurement of coupling attenuation of installed cabling. Measurement methods for sample links in a laboratory environment are contain

37、N 50346:2002+A2:2009 (E)5.15 Resistance unbalance 5.15.1 Parameter The requirements for resistance unbalance Ruwithin the cabling under test is defined as the difference in resistance of the two conductors of a pair expressed either as a percentage or as an absolute value. For evaluation of Ru, the
38、conductors within the pair or channel within the cabling under test have to be measured individually. It is possible to use another conductor for a signal return path allowing a loop resistance to be measured. The resistance of each conductor is then calculated by mathematical methods. 5.15.2 Test m
39、ethod 5.15.2.1 Test equipment and set-up The resistance of the conductors shall be measured by means of equipment capable of measuring accurately to within 0,5 % of the values to be determined. 5.15.2.2 Measurement The current density shall not exceed 1 A/mm of conductor to avoid any significant inc

47、lies the requirements of the test methods specified by ISO/IEC 14763-3 to information technology cabling within the scope of this standard subject to the following: a) the results shall be compared with relevant limits specified in EN 50173-1 or the applicable application-specific standard; b) the a
