36、een assumed in thedrafting of this International Standard that the execution ofitsprovisions is entrusted to appropriately qualified and experienced persons.This standardrecognizesthe internationally accepted levelof protect ion against hazardssuchas electrical, mechanical, thermal,fire and radiat i
37、on of appliances when operated as in normal use taking intoaccount the manufacturers instructions. It also coversabnormalsituations thatcan be expectedinpractice and takes into account the way in whichelectromagnetic phenomena can affect the safe operation of appliances.This standard takes into acco
38、untthe requirements of IEC 60364 as far as possible sothatthere is compatibilitywith the wiring ruleswhen the appliance is connected to the supply mains. However, national wiring rules may differ.If an appliance within the scope of this standard also incorporates functions that are coveredby another
39、Part2ofIEC 60335, therelevantart 2isappliedtoeachfunctionseparately, asfar as is reasonable. If applicable, the influence of one function on the other is taken into account.An appliance that complieswith the text of this standard will not necessarily be considered to comply with the safetyprinciples

46、ousehold use, but which nevertheless maybe a sourceof dangertothe public,such as appliances intended to be used by laymen in shops, in lightindustry and on farms, are within the scope ofthis standard.Appliances that may also be used when mounted on a support are withinthe scope of thisstandard.NOTE
