15、epared by SC 15C, Specifications, of IEC TC 15, Insulating materials, was submitted to the IEC-CENELEC parallel vote and was approved by CENELEC as EN 60455-3-2 on 2003-06-01. This European Standard replaces HD 307.3.2 S1:1997. References to HD 307.2 S1:1986 have been updated to EN 60455-2:1999 and

16、a new product, EP-F-7, has been introduced. The following dates were fixed: latest date by which the EN has to be implemented at national level by publication of an identical national standard or by endorsement (dop) 2004-03-01 latest date by which the national standards conflicting with the EN have

17、 to be withdrawn (dow) 2006-06-01 Annexes designated “normative“ are part of the body of the standard. In this standard, annex ZA is normative. The series consists of three parts: Part 1: Definitions and general requirements (IEC 60455-

20、L INSULATION Part 3: Specifications for individual materials Sheet 2: Quartz filled epoxy resinous compounds 1 Scope This part of IEC 60455 contains the requirements for quartz filled epoxy resinous compounds in the cured form for types EP-F-1 to EP-F-7. Other materials than quartz may be introduced

21、 later. 2 Normative references The following referenced documents are indispensable for the application of this document. For dated references, only the edition cited applies. 22、Resin-based reactive compounds used for electrical insulation Part 2: Methods of test 3 Requirements The requirements for quartz filled epoxy resinous compounds in the cured form are given in Table 2. If not otherwise specified, the requirements are for (23 2) C. NOTE 1 Materials with fillers differ

23、ent from quartz may be added as additional tables. Quartz filled epoxy resinous compounds purporting to comply with this standard shall contain between 45 % and 65 % by mass of quartz filler. NOTE 2 Materials for use in lower or higher temperature conditions may require additional tests to establish

24、 their suitability. 4 Special requirements When any of the following special properties are prescribed in the purchase contract, the method of test given below shall be used.
