13、fety of motor-operated electric tools“ was submitted to the IEC-CENELEC parallel vote and approved by CENELEC as EN 60745-2-23:2013. A draft amendment, which covers common modifications to IEC 60745-2-23 (116/111/FDIS), was prepared by CLC/TC 116 “Safety of motor-operated electric tools“ and approve

31、plies to die grinders and small rotary tools for mounted accessories not exceeding 55 mm in diameter and mounted sanding accessories not exceeding 80 mm in diameter such as threaded cones or plugs that are threaded on a mandrel with an unrelieved shoulder flange, mandrel mounted wheels, and rotary f
32、iles with a rated speed not exceeding a peripheral speed of the accessory of 80 m/s at rated capacity. This standard does not apply to straight and vertical grinders utilizing flanges for driving an abrasive accessory. Those tools are covered by IEC 60745-2-3. 2 Normative references This clause of P

39、 tools are tested at no-load. 6.2.4.2 Location of measurement Addition: Figures Z102 to Z103 show the positions for different types of tools. 6 EN 60745-2-23:2013 6.2.6.3 Operating conditions Modification: The tools shall be tested under no-load equipped with an artificial wheel under the conditions
40、 described below in Table Z101. Table Z101 Vibration test conditions Orientation Tool to be held as in normal use, the motor axis being horizontal. Tool bit Artificial wheel as specified in Figure Z101 of a diameter equivalent to the rated capacity and dimensions in accordance with Table Z102. When
41、using the artificial wheel, start with a diameter (e -1 mm) and increase the size at the hole in stages of 1/10 mm until the required unbalance is obtained. The artificial wheel is mounted on a mandrel with a diameter suitable for the chuck or collet of the tool. Feed force No feed force to be appli
42、ed. Excessive gripping force shall be avoided. Test cycle A test cycle is given by conducting a measurement for at least 10 s. 46、 as ear protection, dust mask, etc; indication of direction of rotation of the spindle. This shall be indicated by an arrow, raised or sunk, or by any other means no less visible and indelible. 8.6 Addition: n.rated speed 8.12.1 Addition: For the following safety instructions specified in 8.12.1.101
47、 to 8.12.1.104, the terms such as grinding/grinder, sanding/sander, wire brushing/wire brush, polishing/polisher, carving/carving tool or cutting-off/cut-off tool, are selected as recommended by the manufacturer. These terms in the warnings and headings shall be consistently used or deleted based on
48、 the selected operations. The “and”/“or” conjunctions may be used as appropriate. If the power tool is recommended only for one of the listed operations, the heading of that section is to be used for all warnings. 8.12.1.101 Safety instructions for all operations Safety warnings common for grinding,
