15、100 on 2006-07-01. This Standard is to be used in conjunction with EN 61076-7. 25、pe This part of IEC 61076-7 provides dimensional requirements, application information and tests for metric cable sealing of heavy-duty rectangular or circular connector hoods. Cable outlets in the sense of this detail specification comprise all the necessary parts designed to fulfil the specific de

26、gree of sealing of the hood that are not cable glands, which are outside the scope of this standard. The cable outlet shall provide a cable retention function in accordance with Annex A, a cable anchorage function (pull-and-twist test) is not specified. Outlets with protective bonding to earth or sh

32、purposes of this document, the terms and definitions of IEC 60050-581 and IEC 60512, as well as the following, apply. 2.1.1 cable retention ability of a cable outlet to limit the displacement of a fitted cable under static load EN 50262, 3.6 modified 2.1.2 cable anchorage ability of a cable outlet t

33、o limit the displacement of a fitted cable under dynamic and torque loads EN 50262, 3.7 modified 2.2 Materials and plating The metric cable outlet according to this detail specification shall be of metal with appropriate plating or of non-metal (plastic) material. When dissimilar metals are employed

34、 in intimate contact with each other, adequate protection against corrosion shall be used. The seal material shall be of rubber or other elastomeric materials having a hardness of 55 Shore A 5 points in accordance with ISO 868. 2.3 Construction A cable outlet in the context of this detail specificat

35、ion consists of an outlet portion (body), being a sealed assembled or moulded or die-casted integral part of the hood, a single or multi-size seal, a pressure ring and a pressure nut to press the seal. All external projecting edges and corners of cable outlet shall be smooth to prevent danger from i

36、njury in handling the cable outlet. All threads shall be constructed in accordance with IEC 60423, Table 1. Cable outlets shall be designed to avoid cable damage when installed in accordance with the manufacturers instructions. Cable outlets shall provide a minimum degree of IP54 in accordance with

37、IEC 60529. 2.4 Styles The cable outlets shall be divided into the following styles. Drawings are shown in the first-angle projection. The shape of the cable outlet accessories
