17、age 4 EN 61754-16:ZOOO FIBRE OPTIC CONNECTOR INTERFACES - Part 16: Type PN connector family 1 Scope This part of IEC 61754 defines the standard interface dimensions for type PN family of connectors. 2 Description The parent connector for type PN connector family is a duplex plug connector which is c

18、haracterized by a 10,16 mm pitch, and a 2,5 mm nominal ferrule diameter. It includes two types of plugs, PN-I and PN-II. PN-I is a high precison type which has floating ferrules with springs. PN-II is a low-cost type, variant of PN-I, which has fixed ferrules, no springs, incorporating a one piece b

19、ody. Both plugs are mechanically compatible with both the adaptor or the socket. 3 Interfaces This standard contains the following standard interfaces: - interface 16-1: (duplex) plug PN-I connector interface - interface 16-2: (duplex) plug PN-II connector interface - interface 16-3: (duplex) adapto
