7、ber 2001 ETSI 5 ETSI EN 300 394-4-4 V1.l.l (2001-01) 1 Scope EN 300 394-4 contains the Test Suite Structure (TSS) and Test Purposes (TPs) to test the TETRA Direct Mode Operation (DMO) protocols. EN 300 394-4 is divided into several parts, each one dealing with a different set of layer 3 and layer 2

8、DMO protocols. The present document deals with TSS Technical requirements for Direct Mode Operation (DMO); Part 4: Type 1 repeater Air Interface“. (It is also t

15、he name of the corresponding test case). 4 Requirement ref: reference to the paragraph number of specification EN 300 396-4 l stating this conformance requirement. For example: EN 300 396-4 l, 6.2.5.1. 4.1 Pur pose Selection cond Test description Pass criteria Preamble Postam ble Test Suite Structur

16、e (TSS) Purpose of the test itself, indicating for example the test performed against a requirement of the protocol, described by this test purpose. Example: test of changeover initiated from RX reservation state. Expression based on EN 300 396-8-2 2 PICS statements, used to select or deselect the c

Visible action to be observed at PCO to declare that the IUT passes the test and conforms to the specifications. “None“ or name of the preamble procedure bringing the IUTfrom idle state to the state required to

MAC layer test groups The first level of the MAC test groups separates the MAC test suite in functional test groups: CA, BV and TI. The following list defines the MAC layer test group names and identifiers: - DM-REP1

19、MAC layer (DMO-DMREPlMAC) - Capability tests (CA) - Valid behaviour tests (BV) - Invalid behaviour tests (BI) - Timer tests (TI) 4.2 Test g roup descri pt ion Capability (CA) tests provide limited testing that the observable capabilities of the IUT are in accordance with the conformance requirements

20、 and the additional capabilities claimed in the PICSPIXIT. The Valid Behaviour (BV) group tests an IUT in response to valid behaviour of the test system. “Valid“ means that a test event is syntactically and contextually correct. All test cases in the valid behaviour group are intended to verify as t

21、horoughly as possible the various functions of the protocol. Different timers are defined to supervise the various state transitions. The Timer (TI) test group is intended to verify that the IUT is reacting properly to an expiry of one of the timers or to a counter mismatch. 5 Introduction to Test P

22、urposes (TPs) The test purposes are defined in clause 6 of the present document for MAC layer. 5.1 Test purpose definition conventions Each TP is described using text presented in a table. 24、 DMAC-SYNC PDU containing identical PDU to the parallel tester, meaning that the IUT fill bit deletion and addition mechanism works properly. A.3211 or A.3212 None. Free DM channel. 27、r test. 6 DM-REP1 test purposes In this test purpose description, the following test configuration is defined: the IUT is a DM-REP1. The main tester is a MS connected to a Repeater type 1 (MS-REP1) and it plays the role of the master of the call. A parallel tester plays the role of the slave. Most o

28、f the tests verify that the repeater re-transmits properly what is received from the main tester to the parallel tester, and from the parallel tester to the main one. 6.1 DM-REP1 MAC layer 6.1 .I DM-REP1 MAC capability tests ETSI 9 ETSI EN 300 394-4-4 V1.l.l (2001-01) Pur pose Test description Pass
