Once the present document is cited in the Official Journal of the European Union under that Directive, compliance with the normative clauses of the present document given in table A.1 confers, within the limits of the sc

47、ollowing apply: ancillary equipment: equipment used in connection with a VMES is considered as ancillary if the three following conditions are met: the equipment is intended for use in conjunction with the VMES to provide additional operational and/or control features (e.g. to extend control to anot

48、her position or location); and the equipment cannot be used on a stand alone basis, to provide user functions independently of the VMES; and the absence of the equipment does not inhibit the operation of the VMES.
