17、tage 3 specification for an Application Programming Interface (API) for Open Service Access (OSA), and provides an overview of the content and structure of the various parts of the present document, and of the relation to other standards documents. The OSA specifications define an architecture that

36、ability Server NOTE 1: From the viewpoint of applications, a Service Capability Server can be seen as a gateway to the core network. 48、use of network functionality through an open standardized interface, i.e. the OSA APIs. The network functionality is describes as Service Capability Features or Services (see note). The OSA Framework is a general component in support of Services (Service Capabilities) and Applications. The OSA API i

49、s split into three types of interface classes, Service and Framework. Interface classes between the Applications and the Framework that provide applications with basic mechanisms (e.g. Authentication) that enable them to make use of the service capabilities in the network.
