10、uropean Telecommunications Standards Institute (ETSI). This GTS describe and define a recommended set of Teleservices to be supported by a GSM (Phase Whase 2+) PLMN in connection with other networks as a basis for defining the network capabilities required. This GTS is a TC-SMG approved GSM technica
11、l specification version 5, which contains GSM Phase 2+ enhancements/features to the version 4 GSM technical specification. The ETS from which this Phase 2+ GTS has evolved is Phase 2 GSM ETS 300 502 (GSM 02.03 version 4.3.1). GTS are produced by TC-SMG to enable the GSM Phase 2+ specifications to be
12、come publicly available, prior to submission for the formal ETSI standards approval procedure to become European Telecommunications Standards (ETS). This ensures the earliest possible access to GSM Phase 2+ specifications for all Manufacturers, Network operators and implementors of the Global System
13、 for Mobile communications. The contents of this GTS are subject to continuing work within TC-SMG and may change following formal TC-SMG approval. Should TC-SMG modify the contents of this GTS it will then be republished by ETSI with an identifying change of release date and an increase in version n
14、umber as follows: Version 5.x.y where: y the third digit is incremented when editorial only changes have been incorporated in the specification; x the second digit is incremented for all other types of changes, .e. technical enhancements, corrections, updates, etc. The specification from which this
15、GTS has been derived was originally based on CEPT documentation, hence the presentation of this GTS may not be entirely in accordance with the ETSI rules. Reference is made within this GTS to GSM-TSs (note). NOTE: TC-SMG has produced documents which give the technical specifications for the implemen
16、tation of the digital cellular telecommunications system. Historically, these documents have been identified as GSM Technical Specifications (GSM-TSs). These TSs may have subsequently become I-ETSs (Phase l), or ETSs/ETSI Technical Reports (ETRs) (Phase 2). TC-SMG has also produced ETSI GSM TSs whic
17、h give the technical specifications for the implementation of Phase 2+ enhancements of the digital cellular telecommunications system. These version 5.x.x GSM Technical Specifications may be referred to as GTSs. Page 6 ETSI GSM*02.03 96 m 3400855 0095532 bb3 m GSM 02.03 Version 5.0.0: March 1996 Bla
18、nk page ETSI GSM*2.03 9b 3q00855 0095533 5TT Page 7 GSM 02.03 Version 5.0.0: March 1996 O Scope The purpose of this specification is to describe and define a recommended set of Teleservices to be supported by a GSM PLMN in connection with other networks as a basis for defining the network capabiliti
19、es required. Teleservices not included in this specification should not be introduced unilateraly by a mobile network operator, if the provision of this service requires that the GSM signalling specifications are modified. 0.1 Normative references This GTS incorporates by dated and undated reference

For dated references, subsequent amendments to or revisions of any of these publications apply to this GTS only when incorporated in it by amend

These attributes are descri
29、bed and defined in specification GSM 02.01. They are grouped into three categories: - High layer attributes - Low layer attributes (describing the Bearer capabilities which support the Teleservice). - information transfer attributes, - access attributes. - General attributes NOTE: Teleservices gener
30、ally make use of underlying lower layer capabilities of Bearer Services as defined in specification GSM 02.02. However, where Teleservices are provided by a single Administration, RPOA or other services provider, the combination of values of lower layer attributes applicable to specific Telesenices
31、may not necessarily be identical to any of those identified for the Bearer Services appearing in specification GSM 02.02. Figure 1 / GSM 02.03 shows the relationship between the different categories of services attributes, and their scope within a Teleservice. High layer attributes NOTE 1 : A transi

The Bearer Capability is characterized by information transfer, access and

If a user needs to apply this technique an appropriate bearer service (GSM 02.02) can be used.
