2、GREASE, MOLYBDENUM DISULFIDE ADDED AUTOMATIC ESA-M1C100-A BRAKE ADJUSTING SCREW NOT TO BE USED FOR NEW DESIGN 1. SCOPE The material defined by this specification is an NLGI No. 2 grade grease consisting of a mineral oil and synthetic thickener with additives to give the desired characteristics. 2. A

3、PPLICATION This specification was released originally for grease used on all automatic brake adjusting screws. 3. REQUIREMENTS 3.0 STANDARD REQUIREMENTS FOR PRODUCTION MATERIALS Material suppliers and part producers must conform to the Companys Standard Requirements For Production Materials (WSS-M99

4、P1111-A). 3.1 MOISTURE, max 0.25% (ASTM D 95) 3.2 SYNTHETIC THICKENING AGENT 11 - 15% (ASTM D 128) 3.3 SULFATED ASH, max 3% (ASTM D 128) 3.4 MOLYBDENUM DISULFIDE, min 2.5% (ASTM D 128, 2-5 micron size) 3.5 MINERAL OIL REQUIREMENTS 3.5.1 Viscosity at 98.9 C, min 13.0 cSt(mm2/s) (ASTM D 445 and D 446)
