SCOPE The material defined by this specification is a resin bonded fluorocarbon coating having excellent corrosion resistance and surface adhesion, and providing good wear resistance and a low coef
3、ficient of friction. 2. APPLICATION This specification was released originally for a corrosion protective coating for brake anti-lock sensor rings. 3. REQUIREMENTS Material specification requirements are to be used for initial qualification of materials. 3.0 STANDARD REQUIREMENTS FOR PRODUCTION MATE
4、RIALS Material suppliers and part producers must conform to the Companys Standard Requirements For Production Materials (WSS-M99P1111-A). 3.2 APPEARANCE The coating shall be uniform in color and coverage, and free of any visual imperfections, such as cracks, chips, tears or contaminants. The coating
5、 shall be black unless otherwise specified on the engineering drawing. 3.3 ZINC PHOSPHATE COATING Prior to fluorocarbon coating, the parts shall be immersion coated with zinc phosphate to 6.5-12.9 g/m. 3.4 FILM THICKNESS 0.015 - 0.038 mm (FLTM BI 117-01) 3.5 ADHESION (FLTM BI 106-01, Method A, use 1
