2、) MODIFIED, CAST WHEEL ESA-M2A123-A NOT TO BE USED FOR NEW DESIGN 1. SCOPE The material defined by this specification is a permanent mold cast aluminum alloy (A356-T6). 2. APPLICATION This specification was released originally for material used for cast aluminum automotive wheels. 3. REQUIREMENTS 3.
3、0 STANDARD REQUIREMENTS FOR PRODUCTION MATERIALS Material suppliers and part producers must conform to the Companys Standard Requirements For Production Materials (WSS-M99P1111-A). 3.1 CHEMICAL COMPOSITION The chemical composition of the aluminum wheel must conform to SAE J452 A356.0. Except, Stront
4、ium 0.01 - 0.04% (Used to Modify Silicon). The chemical composition of the casting shall be checked per procedures outlined in ASTM B108 and in accordance with suitable chemical (ASTM Method E34), or spectrochemical (ASTM Method E607, E1251). Metal may consist of a blend of both primary and secondar
