This could cause the dispersion to coagulate or foam. 5.2 METHOD OF APPLICATION This material is supplied ready for use and m
8、ay be brush, dip or spray applied at a thickness of 0.0025 mm to 0.0125 mm. This material can be applied to substrates having temperatures up to 150 C. This allows application to rubber near the extruder. Clean equipment with water after use. If the coating has dried, use MEK. 5.3 CURING This materi
9、al requires time and/or temperature to properly cure the urethane resin. Several cure cycles can be effectively used: a) Air dry for 16 - 24 h b) 65 - 120 C for 5 - 10 minutes c) 120 - 175 C for 5 minutes d) When applied to substrate preheated to 150 +/- C, this material can cure in 30 s When proper
10、ly cured, this material will pass ASTM D 3359 tape adhesion test with no loss of adhesion or cohesion. For maximum adhesion, substrate should reach 120 C during cure. Note: Exposure to curing temperatures in excess of 175 C may degrade the resin and lead to premature failure of this material. 5.4 STORAGE Protect from freezing. Shelf life is six months when stored between 10 and 27 C under original seal.
