SCOPE The material defined by this specification is an injection moldable, long glass fiber reinforced thermoplastic polyurethane molding compound, which exhibits high

3、impact resistance and high flexural properties. 2. APPLICATION This specification was released originally for material used for parking brake foot control release handles. 3. REQUIREMENTS 3.0 STANDARD REQUIREMENTS FOR PRODUCTION MATERIALS Material suppliers and part producers must conform to the Com

4、panys Standard Requirements For Production Materials (WSS-M99P1111-A). 3.4 MOLDING COMPOUND 3.4.1 Glass Fiber Content 38-42% (ASTM D 2584, 2 h at 540 C) 3.5 MOLDED TEST SPECIMEN 3.5.1 Preparation of Test Specimens Unless otherwise specified all tests shall be carried out on injection molded test spe

5、cimens. The specimens shall be prepared according to ASTM D 1897. No annealing allowed. 3.5.2 Density 1.47-1.57 g/cm3(ASTM D 792, Method A1) 3.5.3 Tensile Strength, min 140 MPa (ASTM D 638, Type I specimen, 5 mm/min test speed) 3.5.4 Tensile Modulus, min 9.0 GPa (Test Method according to 3.5.3) 3.5.
