SCOPE The material defined by this specification is a custom compounded EPDM elastomer. 2. APPLICATION This specification was released originally for material used for manufacturing of
3、the squeeze bulb used with the manually controlled front seat inflatable lumbar support. This material will stain adjacent trim components and therefore may only be used when covered with a dark colored trim material. Use in direct contact with white or light colored vinyl trim materials is specific
4、ally prohibited. 3. REQUIREMENTS 3.0 STANDARD REQUIREMENTS FOR PRODUCTION MATERIALS Material suppliers and part producers must conform to the Companys Standard Requirements For Production Materials (WSS-M99P1111-A). 3.2 The material shall conform to the following SAE J 200 callout: M4BA610A14CF17P1P
5、2Z Black EPDM Elastomer “C“ suffix - Shall conform to ESB-M9P1-A at 50% elongation. “P1“ suffix - Shall conform to ESB-M9P4-A. “P2“ suffix - ATCC #4 maximum stain after 120 SFH. - Exposure per SAE J 1885. Test Method: Simulate actual bulb installation by placing current production white vinyl (M2F s
6、eries) over the elastomer and expose the white vinyl surface to the light source. 5.
