12、monstrate compliance, the sample size and method of testing shall be in accordance with FLTM BN 24-2. 3.13 PERFORMANCE - ENVIRONMENTAL AGING All materials, portions of components, and composites defined by this specification that have not been treated, modified or reformulated and exceed a maximum b
13、urn rate of 3.0 in (76 mm) per minute as specified by the Flammability Lot Sampling Plan of FLTM BN 24-2, must be evaluated for permanency of the materials flame retardant properties per ESB-M25P3-A according to the accelerated environmental aging requirements applicable to the basic material catego
14、ry of this particular specification. Any material, portions of components, and composites defined by this specification that have been treated modified or reformulated to conform to Flammability Lot Sampling Plan of FLTM BN 24-2, regardless of maximum burn rate, must be evaluated for both permanency
15、 of materials flame retardant properties and changes in mechanical, chemical and physical properties per ESB-M25P3-A applicable to the basic materials category of this particular specification. 3.14 FLAMMABILITY TEST PROGRAM Materials, portions of components, and composites governed by this specific
16、ation must also comply with the requirements of ES-D3AB-11014-AA. 3.15 SCUFFING (FLTM BN 108-04, 100 cycles, 2 lb (0.9 kg) load, “A“ head) The vinyl surface shall show no evidence of breakthrough when examined after the above test. 3.16 RESISTANCE TO DETERIORATION AND DISCOLORATION After heat aging,
17、 the cover material shall not exhibit excessive discoloration or deterioration. Test Method: Condition bonded samples per FLTM BN 113-01 in an air circulating oven at 102 +/- 2 C for 7 days. 19、equirements: 3.18.1 Material Acceptability The criterion for material acceptability shall be job performance. This means that the material must provide an acceptable appearance when vacuum heat embossed under approved production conditions. Roll samples of original approved materials shall be retain
20、ed for reference purposes by the Utica Plant and shall be conditioned according to ASTM D 1776 prior to all embossing evaluations. 3.18.2 Material After Proper Embossing (FLTM BN 13-6) The material must retain all embossures when tested as described in FLTM BN 113-01 and BN 113-02. Face finish (glos
21、s) of roll goods must not change. Material shall not exhibit clothy appearance on face side. After heat aging, as described below, the embossed material shall not exhibit excessive discoloration or deterioration. Test Method: Condition embossed samples per FLTM BN 113-01 in an air circulating oven at 102 +/- 2 C for 7 days. Remove and examine for discoloration and deterioration especially in embossed areas.
