APPLICATIONThis specification was released originally for a material used for priming acrylonitrile - butadiene -styrene (ABS) plastic and stainless steel substrates prior to the

REQUIREMENTS3.1 STANDARD REQUIREMENTS FOR PRODUCTION MATERIALS Material suppliers and part producers must conform to the Companys Standard Requirements For Production Materials (WSS-M99P1111-A). 3.2 COLOR Clear 3.3 SOLIDS,
4、min 3 %(ASTM D 2834, except heat for 3 h at 102 +/- 3 C in a mechanical convection oven) 3.4 WEIGHT PER VOLUME (ASTM D 816) The weight tolerance for any one supplier shall be +/- 0.2 lb/gal (0.024 kg/L) based on the recorded weight of his originally approved production sample (see para 4.4). 3.5 DRY

GENERAL INFORMATION The information given below is provided for clarification and assistance in meeting the requirements of this specification. 4.1 FLASH POINT, min -18 C (ASTM D 56, Closed cup) 4.2 FLAMM
8、ABILITY AND/OR TOXICITY This material represents a potential fire and/or health hazard. The Manufacturing Engineering Department shall notify both the Plant Security and the Safety Units of its presence in the Plant to assure that proper fire and/or health precautions are provided. The location in w
9、hich it is used or stored shall be included in the notifications. 4.3 STORAGE STABILITY Shall be stored at ambient room temperatures below 27 C. When stored in the original unopened container, the material shall have a 6 month shelf life from date of shipment. Containers should always be kept sealed when not in use. 4.4 WEIGHT PER VOLUME Material conforming to this specification range from 6.0 - 8.0 lb/gal (0.72 - 0.96 kg/L).
