SCOPEThe material defined by this specification is a rubber base, fast tack, solvent release adhesive.2. APPLICATIONThis specification was released originally for a material used to bond the par

3、king lamp lenssponge gasket to the parking lamp door assembly.3. REQUIREMENTS3.0 STANDARD REQUIREMENTS FOR PRODUCTION MATERIALS Material suppliers and part producers must conform to the Companys Standard Requirements For Production Materials (WSS-M99P1111-A). 3.2 VISCOSITY AT 23 +/- 2 C (FLTM BU 104

4、01, 250 g total load, 51 hole disc, 10 cm drop) 3.2.1 As Received 45 - 60 s 3.2.2 Aged, max 65 s 3.3 SOLIDS, min 38 %(ASTM D 553, except heat at 102 +/- 3 C for 3 h, save sample for next test) 3.4 ASH, based on solids weight, max 25 % Test Method: Place the crucible containing the solids residue in

5、 a cool muffle furnace. Slowly heat to and maintain at 760 +/- 30 C for 1 h. Cool in desiccator and weigh. 3.5 WEIGHT PER VOLUME 6.5 - 7.0 lb/gal (ASTM D 816) (0.78 -0.84 kg/L) The weight tolerance for any one supplier shall be +/- 0.2 lb/gal (0.024 kg/L) based on the recorded weight of his original

9、23 +/- 2 C. 3.10 ODOR Acid washed solvents having a sweet odor shall be used in manufacturing this adhesive. The adhesive shall be free from objectionable or irritating odors both as received and after aging (3.2.2). 3.11 QUALITY Shall be a smooth homogeneous mixture, free from foreign materials, an

10、d properties detrimental to normal production operations. 3.12 LABELING Must be labeled in accordance with requirements of Ford Manufacturing Standard ZF-10. 11、n given below is provided for clarification and assistance in meeting the requirements of this specification. 5.1 FLASH POINT Below -18 C (ASTM D 56) 5.2 FLAMMABILITY AND/OR TOXICITY This material represents a potential fire and/or health hazard. The Manufacturing Engineering Department shall notify

12、 both the Plant Security and the Safety Units of its presence in the Plant to assure that proper fire and/or health precautions are provided. The location in which it is used or stored shall be included in the notifications. 5.3 SPRAYING Spray application must be confined to an adequately ventilated enclosure.
