SCOPE This specification defines performance requirements for a polyvinylidene chloride autodeposited finish for non-visible body parts. 2. APPLICATION T
3、his specification was released originally for an autodeposited finish generally used on body and chassis parts, such as seat tracks, seat frames, leaf springs, axle components and head lamp mounts. 3. REQUIREMENTS 3.0 STANDARD REQUIREMENTS FOR PRODUCTION MATERIALS Material suppliers and part produce
4、rs must conform to the Companys Standard Requirements For Production Materials (WSS-M99P1111-A). 3.4 SUBSTRATE Cold rolled or hot rolled steel which is subsequently cleaned and water rinsed prior to the application of the autodeposited coating. 3.5 APPEARANCE 3.5.1 Color (FLTM BI 109-01) Shall match
5、 master panel approved by Styling. 3.5.2 Gloss Shall be within limits specified on engineering drawings 3.6 FILM PROPERTIES The specimen under test shall be equivalent to current production materials and processing and conformed to material specification ESB-M64J27-A1 for test specimen preparation.
