4、s in a mechanical convection oven to achieve a surface temperature of 163 +/- 2 C for 30 min. 3.5.4.1 Unpainted Parts or Assemblies Shall not exhibit any surface imperfections such as blisters, pits, dry spots or cracks, etc. Surface imperfections shall be determined using a red concentrate dye in o
5、il suspension (Magnaflux Corporation No. 9CM or equivalent). 3.5.4.2 Painted Parts or Assemblies Shall not exhibit any surface cracking, pitting, warpage or blistering of any type. 6、, LLC Page 4 of 4 3.5.5 Adhesive Bonded Assemblies All parts which are bonded with a normal adhesive system used for glass fiber reinforced polyester shall meet the requirements of ESB-M11P27-A. 3.5.6 Paintability Molded parts shall be processed in keeping with the best commercial practice to insure
7、 good paintability, i.e., “as molded“ surface shall be free of contaminants which would affect paint adhesion, when painted in accordance with released Ford Motor Company specifications for painting glass fiber reinforced polyester plastics. Exterior, highly visible parts which are furnished primed,
8、 or fully painted shall conform to the requirements of Engineering Performance Specification ESB-M2P7-B1. 3.6 FLAMMABILITY In order to comply with Federal Vehicle Safety Standard No. 302, the materials, portions of components, and composites shall not burn, or transmit a flame across its surface, at
9、 a rate of more than 100 mm/min. To demonstrate compliance, the sample size and method of testing shall be in accordance with FLTM BN 024-02. 5.
