SCOPE The material defined by this specification is a silver, metallized polyester film tape, possessing a long-aging adhesive which provides excellent permanent bonding characteristics. 2. APPLICATION This specification was released originally for material used as hood ornament dust

REQUIREMENTS 3.0 STANDARD REQUIREMENTS FOR PRODUCTION MATERIALS Material suppliers and part producers must conform to the Companys Standard Requirements For Production Materials (WSS-M99P1111-A). 3.2 BREAKING STRENGTH, min 22 lb/in (3.8 N/mm) width (ASTM D 1000, except pulled at

4、20 in (508 mm)/min) Elongation at Break, min 110% 3.3 ADHESION TO STEEL, min 35 oz/in (383 N/m) width (ASTM D 1000, pulled at 12 in (305 mm)/min) 3.4 MOISTURE VAPOR TRANSMISSION RATE, max 0.1 g (FLTM BU 001-01) 3.5 AGING CHARACTERISTICS Shall not yellow or discolor or show any evidence of failure, loss in adhesion, cracking, staining, etc., when tested as outlined. 3.5.1 Weatherometer, min 500 h (FLTM BO 101-01) 3.5.2 Sunlamp Exposure, min 500 h (FLTM BU 105-01)
