SCOPE The material defined by this specification is an acrylonitrile butadiene styrene (ABS) and polycarbonate alloy, blended to achieve exceptional impact and thermal properties. Two types of materials are approved under this s

APPLICATION This specification was released originally for the following materials: Type I Used for interior trim components where high impact strength and heat resistance is required, such as automatic transmission shift console handles. Type II A self-extinguishing grade used in e
4、lectrical applications. In addition to offering high thermal and impact properties, this resin exhibits good resistance to hydrocarbons. 3. 10、ng test: Test Method: Condition the parts for 3 h at 107 +/- 3 C (or as otherwise specified on engineering drawing). After removal, parts shall show no more than 0.5% shrinkage where the part has been gated, which will interfere with assembly to mating parts or affect its appearance. The part shall

Test Method: Following a 24 h period of total immersion in gasoline, the impact and flexural properties shall be measured after an open time (23 +/- 2 C, 50 +/- 5% relative humidity) of no less than 24 h, but within 48 h. In addition, the imme
