SCOPE The materials defined by these specifications are modified polyphenylene oxide (polyphenylene ether) resins with high impact strength and moderate to high temperature resistance. ESB-M4D263 suffix designations cor

5、respond to former type categorization as follows: ESB-M4D263-C1 replaces ESB-M4D263-A, Type I ESB-M4D263-C2 replaces ESB-M4D263-A, Type II ESB-M4D263-C3 replaces ESB-M4D263-A, Type III Drawings specifying ESB-M4D263-A, Types I, II or III do not require revision to reflect this new suffix classificat

6、ion. 2. APPLICATION Specifications C1, C3, C4 and C5 were released originally for electrical applications including wiring connectors, corporate bulkhead connectors and lamp sockets. The different grades are selected based on the degree of heat resistance required and molding characteristics. Specif

7、ication C2 was released originally for garnish moldings and finish panels, etc. where high heat resistance is required. 3.
