SCOPE The materials defined by these specifications are based on compositions of ionomer (metallic salt of a vinyl carboxylic acid copolymer of ethylene) that are UV stabilized and may contain pigments a

4、nd glass fiber reinforcements. 2. APPLICATION These specifications were released originally for the following materials: ESB-M4D330-A1 Suitable for interior applications as either a decorative or protective layer, such as window regulator knobs. Parts must be extruded or injection molded around a me

5、tallic substrate or heat resistant plastic, to provide support for high heat environments. Also suitable for exterior applications as a corrosion barrier gasket to separate aluminum/steel interfaces, where the ionomer will not be exposed to UV or high heat.ENGINEERING MATERIAL SPECIFICATION ESB-M4D3
