6、the bottom of a 1/2 x 6 (13 x 150) mm enameled steel U-channel.Immedi ately after application, remove the excess sealant with ascraper to obtain a uniform 1/8 x 1/2 in (3.2 x 13 mm) mass ofsealant in the channel. Condition for 24 h at 23 +/- 2 E C and 45 +/-5 % relative humidity and then examine. (S

7、ave s ample for next test.)3.6 SHRINKAGE Shall not crack or shrinkTest Method: Condition the sample prepared in pa ra 3.5 for 2 weeks at70 +/- 1 E C in a mechanical convection oven.3.7 COLD FLEXIBILITY No crackingTest Method: Apply a 1/ 8 in (3.2 mm) diameter x 6 (150 mm) long beadof sealant to a st

8、rip o f aluminum foil. Condition for 24 h at 23 +/-2 EC. Expose to a temperature of -23 E C for 4 h and bend 180 E arounda temperature conditioned 1/8 in (3.2 mm) mandrel.3.8 WEATHERABILITYNo staining, cracking, blistering, pinholing or other deleteriouseffects.Test Method: Apply a 1/8 (3.2 mm) diam

9、eter bead of sealant(non-black), 6 in (150 mm) long to an enameled 3 x 9 in (75 x 225 mm)steel panel. Condition for 24 h at 23 +/- 2 E C. Expose in an AtlasXW Weatherometer having a 102-18 cam cycle for 500 h and examine.3.9 ULTRAVIOLET LIGHT STABILITY No staining or discoloration(FLTM BO 15-1)Test
