2、lene fabric of good quality.2. APPLICATIONThi s material was released originally for material used in bolster wireassembli es in foam seat pads. The ESB-M9H72-A2 sheeting material mustalways be bonded 100 % to another material to form a com posite. (Reference:ESB-M9H72-A2 Flammability paragraph).3.

3、REQUIREMENTS3.1 INFRARED SPECTROPHOTOMETRY AND/OR THERMAL ANALYSISFord Motor Company, at its option, may conduct infrared and/ortherma l analysis of material/parts supplied to this specification.The IR spectra and thermograms established for i nitial approval shallconst itute the reference standard

4、and shall be kept on file at thedesignated material laboratory. All samples sha ll produce IR spectraand thermograms that correspond to the reference standard when testedunder the same conditions.3.2 CONDITIONING All test values indicated herein are based on ma terial conditioned ina controlled atmo

5、sphere of 23 +/- 2 EC and 50 +/- 5 % relativehumidity for 24 h prior to testing and tested under the samecontrolled conditions.3.3 COMPOSITION 1.05 - 1.44 tex(ASTM D 629) polypropylene3.4 WEIGHT, g/m , min 612(FLTM BN 6-1)3.5 BREAKING STRENGTH, min(ASTM D 1682, Grab Method)MD 220 NAMD 180 NTo preven

8、flashing or sudden flaming on eithersurface in excess of 4 in (101 mm) per minute, when t ested per FLTM BN 24-2, without the lot sampling plan.3.8 SUPPLIERS RESPONSIBILITYAll mat erials supplied to this specification must be equivalent in allcha racteristics to the material upon which approval was

9、originallygranted.Pri or to making any change in the properties, composition, construction,colo r, processing or labeling of the material originally approved underthis specification, whether or not such changes affect the materialsability to meet the specific ation requirements, the Supplier shall n

10、otifyPurchasing, Toxicology and t he affected Materials Engineering activity ofth e proposed changes and obtain the written approval of the MaterialsEn gineering activity. Test data, test samples and a new codeidentification are to be submitted with the request.Sub stance restrictions imposed by law

11、, regulations or Ford, apply to themateria ls addressed by this document. The restrictions are defined inEngin eering Material Specification WSS-M99P9999-A1, unless a differentsuf fix (e.g., A2 or A3) is specified on the engineering document for theapplication.4. APPROVAL OF MATERIALSMat erials defi

12、ned by this specification must have prior approval by theresponsible Materials Engineering activity. Suppliers desirin g approval of theirmaterial s shall first obtain an expression of interest from the affectedPurch asing, Design and Materials Engineering activity. Upon request, theSupplier shall s

13、ubmit to the affected Materials Engineering activity its ownlaboratory report to the specification (test results, not nominal values), themat erial designation and code number, and test specimens for Ford evaluation.Upon approv al, the material will be added to the Engineering Material ApprovedSource List.
