2、WOODEN INTERIOR SEAT SLATS ESD-M11G21-A 1. SCOPE The material defined by this specification is a lacquered first quality Ramin wood. 2. APPLICATION This material is generally used in the manufacture of slatted seats. 3. REQUIREMENTS Material specification requirements are to be used for initial qual
3、ification of materials. 3.0 STANDARD REQUIREMENTS FOR PRODUCTION MATERIALS Material suppliers and part producers must conform to the Companys Standard Requirements For Production Materials (WSS-M99P1111-A). 3.1 PRESERVATIVE If a preservative is used then clearance must first be obtained from the Tox
4、icology Department, Materials Engineering, Dunton. 3.2 CONDITION PRIOR TO TESTING Samples shall be conditioned for 48 h minimum at 50 +/- 5% RH and 23 +/- 2 C prior to test and tested under the same conditions. (Where the dimensions quoted in Test Methods cannot be achieved, then the tests shall be
5、conducted on 100 mm sections of slat. Unless otherwise stated tests to be made on wood without preservative or surface finish). 3.3 APPEARANCE The wood shall have a straight evenly spaced grain, free from knots, shakes, splits, discoloration or other unsightly or harmful defects. 3.4 MOISTURE CONTEN

7、MIDITY EXPOSURE After 120 h at 38 +/- 2 C, 98 +/- 2% relative humidity the material shall show no evidence of swelling or other harmful deterioration. Slight discoloration allowed. 3.9 FINISHED SURFACE PROPERTIES 3.9.1 Appearance Color and finish shall match the Initial Master Appearance Sample (kep
8、t in Materials Laboratory). 3.9.2 Abrasion Resistance, cycles 250 (FLTM BN 108-02, 5 N weight force, CS10 wheels) After test there should be no exposure of the underlying wood. 3.9.3 Weather Resistance, cycles 3 (FLTM BO 115-01) Coatings shall not crack, split or blister during this test. 3.9.4 Humidity Resistance After 120 h at 38 +/- 2 C, 98 +/- 2% RH, there shall be no blooming which is not removable by gentle wiping. 3.9.5 Mold Growth weight loss less 30% (ASTM D 2017) 3.9.6 Odor, max Rating 2 (FLTM BO 131-01) 3.9.7 Flammability Max Burn rate 100 mm/minute (ISO 3795)
