SCOPE The material defined by this specification is a coolant concentrate containing corrosion inhibitors in an aqueous base. 2. APPLICATION This specification was released originally for material

3、which, when mixed with demineralised/deionoised water at 5 % by volume, shall provide corrosion protection and heat transfer for all engines during hot test stand running. After draining, the material will provide corrosion protection for up to one year in storage. The material is fully compatible w

4、ith initial fill engine coolant ESD-M97B49-A. 3. REQUIREMENTS 3.1 STANDARD REQUIREMENTS FOR PRODUCTION MATERIALS Material suppliers and part producers must conform to the Companys Standard Requirements For Production Materials (WSS-M99P1111-A). 3.2 QUALIFICATION The Materials Engineering activity re

5、serves the right to subject candidate coolants to any investigation they may consider necessary and use the data derived for approval qualification. Candidate coolants may be subjected to line trials as required by Ford Motor Company. 3.3 DOCUMENTATION The supplier must furnish to the affected Mater

6、ials Engineering activity a completed and certified copy of the attached Supplement A. Manufacturing control limits that apply to the candidate coolant must also be supplied on Supplement B.
