SCOPE The materials defined by these specifications are non-melting, stiff, smooth homogeneous, heat stable silicone compounds for use in high tension electrica
3、l connections, ignition systems and electronics equipment. 2. APPLICATION These specifications were released originally for materials used in lubricating and giving an electrical sealant for spark plug and distributor boots in the ignition systems. 3. REQUIREMENTS 3.1 STANDARD REQUIRMENTS FOR PRODUC
4、TION MATERIALS Material suppliers and part producers must conform to the Companys Standard Requirments For Production Materials (WSS-M99P1111-A). 3.2 COLOR Light Gray A fluorescent dye shall be added to the ESE-M1C171-A2 (0.3% by weight, max). The dye shall fluoresce under ultraviolet light and shal
5、l be sufficiently intense to permit inspection in the plant. 3.3 BLEED 0.5% max (MIL-S-8660 B, para 3.12) 3.4 EVAPORATION 2.0% max (MIL-S-8660B, Fed-STD-791, Method 321.1) 4. GENERAL INFORMATION The information given below is provided for clarification and assistance in meeting the requirements of t
