SCOPE The material defined by this specification is a uniform blend of non-oxidizing, light mineral oil and highly refined kerosene. 2. APPLICATION This specification was released originally for oil used as a hydr

3、aulic tappet, leak down oil. 3. REQUIREMENTS 3.0 STANDARD REQUIREMENTS FOR PRODUCTION MATERIALS Material suppliers and part producers must conform to the Companys Standard Requirements For Production Materials (WSS-M99P1111-A). 3.1 COLOR, max No. 1 (ASTM D 1500) 3.2 SPECIFIC GRAVITY, min 0.795 (ASTM

4、 D 1298) 3.3 VISCOSITY AT 37.8 C 1.96 - 2.25 cSt (mm2/s) (ASTM D 88) 3.4 FLASH POINT, min 60 C (ASTM D 92) 3.5 FIRE POINT, min 69 C (ASTM D 92) 3.6 TOTAL SULFUR, max 0.20% (ASTM D 129) 3.7 COPPER STRIP CORROSION, max No. 1 (ASTM D 130, 3 h at 70 +/- 1 C) 3.8 HUMIDITY CORROSION No rust Test Method: D

Test Method: There shall be no separation, precipitation, or gum formation, when a sample of the solution is cooled to -40 C and then gradually elevated in temperature to 121 C, and

7、 subsequently cooled to 23 +/- 2 C. 3.10 HARMFUL INGREDIENTS The material shall be free from ingredients deemed harmful to the operator, to the equipment, or to the work being processed. 3.11 ODOR The material shall be free from objectionable odors and shall remain so during periods of normal storage or use.
