2、40-A NOT FOR NEW DESIGN 1. SCOPE The material defined by this specification is an injection moldable modified nylon, filled with ferrite powder. 2. APPLICATION This specification was released originally for material used for permanent distributor field magnets. Note: Parts using this material should
3、 not be exposed to an environment of continuous operating temperature above 100 C. Specific information on this material with respect to application should be obtained from the responsible PEO materials engineering department. 3. REQUIREMENTS 3.0 STANDARD REQUIREMENTS FOR PRODUCTION MATERIALS Materi
4、al suppliers and part producers must conform to the Companys Standard Requirements For Production Materials (WSS-M99P1111-A). 3.2 SPECIFIC GRAVITY 3.20 - 3.40 (ASTM D 792) 3.3 MOLDED PART 3.3.1 Color Natural or as specified on engineering drawing 3.3.2 Appearance Shall be uniform in density, texture
5、 and finish, free of visible porosity, warpage, heat scorch, checks, surface cracks, pitting or any other imperfections. 3.3.3 Regrind and/or Blended Material Must meet Q101 Appendix D, with limits as specified on the engineering drawing. 3.3.4 Process Control Must meet Q101 Appendix D. 3.3.5 Magnet
