2、W DESIGN ESF-M11A5-A 1. SCOPE The material defined by this specification is an activated resin cored solder of 63-37 composition that is a round wire or preform shape. 2. APPLICATION This specification was released originally for material used for soldering electrical connections and other applicati

3、ons where the use of a corrosive flux must be avoided. 3. REQUIREMENTS 3.0 STANDARD REQUIREMENTS FOR PRODUCTION MATERIALS Material suppliers and part producers must conform to the Companys Standard Requirements For Production Materials (WSS-M99P1111-A). 3.1 CHEMICAL COMPOSITION (ASTM B 32) Tin 62.0

4、- 64.0 Zinc 0.005 max Antimony 0.40 max Bismuth 0.25 max Copper 0.08 max Iron 0.02 max Aluminum 0.005 max Total Other Elements 0.08 max Lead Remainder 3.2 FLUX (ASTM B 284) The size of the flux core shall be as specified on the purchase notice and/or engineering drawing. 7、IGHT PERCENTAGE OF FLUX For most applications, a solder designated as 2.2% flux by weight is generally used. In other applications, where excessive amounts of resin may be undesirable, 1.1% flux by weight solder may be used. A 3.3% flux by weight solder may be specified when a larger amount of flux is required.
