SCOPE The material defined by this specification is an air dry enamel with good oil, moisture and acid resistance. The material shall also have good weather resistance with excellent electrical properties.

3、2. APPLICATION This specification was released originally for material used as a protective coating on various electrical components such as generators and starting motors. 3. REQUIREMENTS 3.0 STANDARD REQUIREMENTS FOR PRODUCTION MATERIALS Material suppliers and part producers must conform to the Co

4、mpanys Standard Requirements For Production Materials (WSS-M99P1111-A). 3.1 COMPOSITION (FLTM BI 102-01) 3.1.1 Non-Volatile, min 55.0% 3.1.2 Vehicle, min 41.0% 3.2 SPECIFIC GRAVITY 1.15 - 1.20 (ASTM D 154 at 25 C) 3.3 VISCOSITY 85 - 130 s (FLTM BI 111-01) 3.4 FLASH POINT, min 27 C (ASTM D 93) 3.5 DR

GENERAL INFORMATION The information given below is provided for clarification and assistance in meeting the requirements of this specification. 5.1 FLAMMABILITY AND TOXIC

7、ITY This material can be considered as potentially dangerous from the point of view of both fire and health. The Manufacturing Engineering Department shall notify both the Security and the Safety Units of its presence in the plant. The location in which it is used or stored shall be included in the notification. Company activities shall use this material only as recommended by the Security and Safety Units. Using activities shall insure that protective devices are available and used. Note: Similar to M1J1604-A.
