SCOPE The material defined by this specification is a completely open cell polyurethane foam with a 97% void-volume relationship, felted to a 3:1 ratio of its original thickness. 2. APPLICATION This specification was released originally
3、 for material used where a completely open cell construction is needed such as in the oiler wick for the distributor cam. 3. REQUIREMENTS 3.0 STANDARD REQUIREMENTS FOR PRODUCTION MATERIALS Material suppliers and part producers must conform to the Companys Standard Requirement For Production Material
4、s (WSS-M99P1111-A). 3.1 DENSITY 4 - 6.5 lb/ft3(ASTM D 1564) (64 - 104 kg/m3) 3.2 TENSILE STRENGTH, min 25 psi (173 kPa) (ASTM D 1564) Elongation, min 250% 3.3 TEAR RESISTANCE, min 3 lb/in (0.5 kN/m) (ASTM D 1564) 3.4 COMPRESSION SET, max 75% (ASTM D 1564, Method “B“) 3.5 LOAD INDENTATION AFTER AGING
