2、 ESK-M99J328-A 1. SCOPE The material defined by this specification is an adhesion agent for interior and exterior plastic parts. 2. APPLICATION This specification was released originally for material which is used to improve adhesion of enamel systems to TPE plastic substrate. 3. REQUIREMENTS 3.0 ST
3、ANDARD REQUIREMENTS FOR PRODUCTION MATERIALS Material suppliers and part producers must conform to the Companys Standard Requirements For Production Materials (WSS-M99P1111-A). 3.1 COMPOSITION 3.1.1 Vehicle Mainly highly chlorinated polyolefines. 3.1.2 Pigments (if required) Inert pigments in an amo
4、unt to provide sufficient opacity. Note: Pigmentation is no Engineering requirement. 3.2 PHYSICAL PROPERTIES 3.2.1 Non-Volatile (FLTM BI 102-01) According to initial sample report +/- 0.2, but minimum 3%. 3.2.2 Package Viscosity (FLTM BI 111-01) According to initial sample report +/- 5 s. 3.2.3 Spra
5、y Viscosity If required dilute with Xylol (S-M14J245-A) as recommended by supplier. 6、cable to the plant and/or country where the material shall be used. 3.2.5 Storage Stability During a storage of 6 months at room temperature, the material as received shall not gel or liver upon standing and must be dispersed by normal agitation. The viscosity of the material shall not increase in e
7、xcess of 10 seconds when tested according to FLTM BI 102-03. 3.3 PREPARATION OF TEST SPECIMENS 3.3.1 Substrate Actual plastic substrate as quoted on the Engineering drawing. 3.3.2 Cleaning Careful removal of dirt, mold release agents, fingerprints with suitable solvents or process. 3.3.3 Application
8、 of Adhesion Agent Spray viscosity as specified by vendor. Thinner: Xylol S-M14J245-A. Apply ESK-M99J328-A to a dry film thickness of 2 3 micrometre (FLTM BI 117-01), indirect on a steel panel. Let flash off for 3 - 5 minutes. Apply intended primer/enamel or enamel system only according to relevant
9、Material Specification. 3.4 FILM AND RESISTANCE PROPERTIES Handle testing according to relevant Material Specification. 3.5 SUBSTANCE CONTROL Legal, health, safety and environmental constraints may apply to the materials which are submitted for approval to this specification.
