Do not sand test panels. 3.4.2 A

2、pplication of ESK-M99J340-A 1 hour after enamel baking panels are treated as follows: Apply material under test to a dry film thickness of 150 - 200 micrometers using pneumatic or airless spray equipments. Flash-off 3 minutes at room temperature. Bake 10 minutes/130 C metal temperature. 3.5 REPAIR R

3、EQUIREMENTS 3.5.1 Repair Using Acid Catalyst The enamel system shall show satisfactory color match, gloss and intercoat adhesion on the baked finish. Addition ratio of the hardener ESK-M99J341-A as specified by vendor, preferable 3 to 5% (by weight). Bake 10 minutes at 100 C metal temperature. ENGIN

5、 Other Panels 3 days at room temperature 3.7 APPEARANCE 3.7.1 Color (FLTM BI 109-01) Color shall match the approved master panel. 3.7.2 Gloss (FLTM BI 110-01, 60 glossmeter) According to the approved master panel +/- 5. 3.7.3 Structure (if required) Equal or similar to the approved master panel. 3.8

6、 FILM PROPERTIES 3.8.1 Film Thickness (FLTM BI 117-01) 150 - 200 micrometers for ESK-M99J340-A. 3.8.2 Adhesion 3.8.2.1 Chip Resistant Rating 0 (FLTM BI 107-01) 3.9 RESISTANCE PROPERTIES 3.9.1 Salt Fog Resistance 240 h (FLTM BI 103-01) No blistering and rusting on panel surface and not more than 4 mm

7、 rust creepage and/or loss of adhesion from a line scribed to bare metal. 3.9.2 Water Resistance 240 h (FLTM BI 104-01) No blistering, softening or dulling. A slight change of color is permitted. 8、al Technologies, LLC Page 4 of 4 3.9.3 Stone Chip Resistance 3.9.3.1 FLTM EU-BI 057-02 Rating 0 3.9.3.2 FLTM BI 157-04, max Rating 1 3.9.4 Cold Check Resistance (FLTM BI 107-02) Prepare test panels according to 3.3. ESK-M99J340-A shall withstand a minimum of 10 cold check cycles without cracking or

9、noticeable dulling. 3.9.5 Resistance to Applicable Wax and Dewax Materials Application of wax preservative after 6 hours ageing at room temperature and the removal of the preservative after a further 72 hours by any current dewax compound shall have no deleterious effect upon the quality or appearan

10、ce of the paint film. 3.9.6 Resistance to Water and Soap Spotting (FLTM BI 113-01) No change of color and/or gloss. 3.9.7 Resistance to Acid Spotting (FLTM BI 113-02) No change of color and/or gloss. 3.9.8 Weathering Resistance (FLTM BI 160-01) Preparation of test panels according to 3.3 and 3.4, 12

11、 months Florida exposure. Test panels shall show a minimum degree of fading, chalking, dulling or color change. No increase of brittleness nor loss of adhesion is permitted and the test panel shall be completely free from evidence of cracking, checking, blistering, peeling or rusting after exposure. Do not polish test panels prior to evaluation.
