2、BE USED FOR NEW DESIGN 1. SCOPE The material defined by this specification is a mixture of Propylene Glycol, Glycerin and Water. 2. APPLICATION This specification was released originally for material used as anti-freeze in the initial production fill or automotive windshield washer systems. 3. REQUI
3、REMENTS 3.1 ODOR Non objectionable 3.2 COLOR Optional with Supplier 3.3 COMPOSITION Water: 50% vol. Propylene Glycol: 48% vol. Glycerin: 2% vol 3.4 EFFECT ON PAINT Shall show no adverse effect, such as staining, discoloration or loss of gloss on painted surfaces. Test Method: Test Panels shall be pr
4、epared using approved paints meeting the requirements of ESN-M2P12-B. a) Using a medicine dropper apply a small quantity of the fluid to each test panel held in a horizontal position. b) Allow fluid to remain on panels for 4h at 23 +/- 20 C c) Wash panel with a mild detergent, rinse thoroughly and d
5、ry with a soft cloth. Evaluate. 3.5 SUPPLIER RESPONSIBILITIES Material supplied to this specification must be equivalent to that originally approved.
