SCOPE The material defined by this specification is a sintered iron base powdered metal with nickel and copper added as powders during blending. 2. APPLICATION This specification was released originally for material used for automatic trans

3、mission pump gears. 3. REQUIREMENTS 3.0 STANDARD REQUIREMENTS FOR PRODUCTION MATERIALS Material suppliers and part producers must conform to the Companys Standard Requirements For Production Materials (WSS-M99P1111-A). 3.1 CHEMICAL COMPOSITION Nickel 0.75 - 1.25 Copper 0.75 - 1.25 Total Carbon 1.25

4、max Combined Carbon 0.6 - 1.0 Total other elements (1) 3.0 max Iron Remainder (High Compressible Powder) (1) Total other elements-this limit includes solid lubricants, impurities and all other additions not otherwise listed. 3.2 DENSITY, min 6.7 g/cm3(ASTM B 328) 3.3 POROSITY As specified on (ASTM B

5、 328) Engineering Drawings 3.4 CRUSHING STRENGTH As specified on Engineering Drawings The crushing strength shall be determined from actual strength tests on parts which have passed the performance requirements. 3.5 PHYSICAL AND/OR PERFORMANCE REQUIREMENT OF FINISHED PRODUCT When required, shall be as specified on the affected part or Product Engineering Drawing, or in the affected part or Product Engineering Performance Specification.
