2、E TEST Application This test method is used to determine the weathering resistance (e.g. color change, gloss, chalking, and cracking) of painted panels (ferrous and non-ferrous) and molded-in-color (plastics) under natural weathering in Florida or Arizona, both uncovered (direct) and under glass. 10、are to be permanently identified on the reverse, or back, side in a suitable fashion. Front, or exposed, side marking may be used if it does not infringe on the exposure test area. The reverse side and edges of all ferrous panels are to be sealed for corrosion prevention (electrocoat; clear air dry

Expose samples (exposure side up) facing south, at an angle, or angles, described in the applicable Engineering Materials Specification, for the system under consideration.

12、 Use standard panel racks unless otherwise instructed. 4. The test period shall be selected to evaluate the field performance and/or characteristics under consideration (refer to the applicable Engineering Material Specification). 5. During the outdoor exposure, the specimens shall be positioned and

13、 mounted so as not to cast shadows on each other or contact one another. Also, the specimens shall be mounted so that the products of weathering shall not drain off from one specimen onto another. 6. All direct weathering panels and the glass cover over the under-glass exposures shall be rinsed mont
