Add the required amount of water at 55 +/- 3 OC and the required amount of soap and start the mac
5、hine. The washing machine shall be filled with approximately 80 liters of water. 0.2 % soap solution (approximately 7 g of soap per liter of water). Insert the test specimens in the machine together with the additional extra specimen to make a normal load. un continuously on the wash cycle for 30 mi
6、nutes. The load shall consist of the specimens to be tested and additional convertible top material to make up a load of fifteen specimens (280 x 280 mm). After above washing, start the rinse cycle. The temperature of the rinse water should be 55 +/- 3 OC. Run machine for 2 minutes and drain rinse w
7、ater. Spin dry specimens for 1 minute. Do not wring or squeeze. Dry specimens in a convection air oven for 30 minutes. Condition dried specimens for at least 16 h in an ctmosphere having a relative humidity of 50 +/- 5 % and 23 +/- 2 OC. Remeasure the marked-off areas carefully and report shrinkage and/or expansion. Chemicals, materials, parts, and equipment referenced in this document must be used and handled properly. Each party is responsible for determining proper use and handling in its facilities.
