2、determine the susceptibility of dye ingress onto trim material in terms of a Gray Scale rating as determined by AATCC Evaluation Procedure 1 and is applicable to all trim material applications. This method was originally released as JNS 30.14.30. Apparatus Required Electrically Driven Crockmeter (re

3、f FLTM BN 107- 01 or BS 3424 part 14) The Crockmeter has a cylindrical acrylic finger 16 mm diameter, which has a flat, smooth end and the edges are slightly rounded to prevent abrading. The cylindrical finger shall exert a force on 9 N on the test material and shall have a stroke of approximately 1

8、xe Leather and Vinyl Cleaner (ZC-11-A/B/C) Conditioning and Test Conditions All test values indicated herein are based on material conditioned in a controlled atmosphere of 23+/-2 C and 50 +/- 5% relative humidity for not less than 24 h prior to testing and tested under the same conditions unless ot

9、herwise specified. Procedure/Evaluation/Reporting 1. Place the trim material sample on to the base of the crockmeter. 2. Immerse the denim cloth in alkaline perspiration solution, remove any excess liquid and attach it to the crockmeter finger (low finger). 3. Commence and run the crockmeter for 200

10、 complete cycles. 4. Remove the tested trim material form the crockmeter and assess and record the degree of dye ingress into the tested trim material using the standard (BS 1006 A03 or per ISO 105-A02/AATCC Gray Scale Evaluation Procedure 1). . 5. Soak a crockmeter cloth in one of the cleaners and

11、remove excess liquid. Attach it to the crockmeter finger and run 10 cycles on the area stained in steps 1 through 4 above. 6. Assess and record the degree of cleaning using the standard (BS 1006 A03 or per ISO 105-A02/AATCC Gray Scale Evaluation Procedure 1). Chemicals, materials, parts and equipment referenced in this document must be used and handled properly. Each party is responsible for determining proper use and handling in its facilities.
